The STAAR Surgical Company's IOL delivery system allows for greater control and a sterile IOL delivery. Each MicroSTAAR injector is made of an autoclavable material which can be re-sterilized for multiple uses and comes with either a micrometer advance (twist style) or a syringe advance (plunger style).

MicroSTAAR Injector Models
Each model of the MicroSTAAR injector is made of an autoclavable material, which allows the injectors to be re-sterilized for multiple uses. Each of our injector models, used exclusively with the Micro Tip Cartridge, is a high quality IOL delivery system. Our MicroSTAAR injectors are sold pre-sterilized and packaged in cartons of 10.
MSI-TR / MSI-TM
The MicroSTAAR injector pictured here, model MSI-TR / MSI-TM, contains a micrometer style advance.
MSI-PR / MSI-PM
The MSI-PR / MSI-PM model of the MicroSTAAR injector has a plunger style advance.
MSI-PF (Plunger)/MSI-TF (Twist)
Pictured here, the MSI-PF model utilizes a disposable soft foam-tip plunger that attaches to the MSI-PF / TF models of the MicroSTAAR injector .
MicroSTAAR Indigo-P (Plunger)
The MicroSTAAR Indigo-P injector, pictured here, employs a disposable soft Indigo foam-tip plunger that attaches to the Indigo-P model.

MicroSTAAR Cartridge Models
AQ Cartridge
The AQ model of the Micro Tip Cartridge contains a 45-degree beveled edge and two slits at the cartridge tip. This mini-wing style cartridge can be inserted through a 2.8mm incision. This Micro Tip Cartridge has been designed to accommodate various models of the STAAR Elastimide® Lens (3-piece silicone IOL).

MTC-60c Cartridge
This Micro Tip Cartridge, model MTC-60c, contains a 60-degree beveled edge and no slits. This mini-wing style cartridge is designed to accommodate STAAR Elastic Lens® (single piece silicone IOL) and to insert the silicone IOL through a 2.8mm incision.

SFC-25 Cartridge
The Super Funnel Cartridge SFC-25 model can be inserted through a 2.7mm incision and is designed to accommodate models of the Afinity™ Single Piece Collamer IOL. The SFC-25 cartridge is used with the Indigo-P model of the MicroSTAAR injector and Indigo foam-tip plunger.

SFC-45 Cartridge
The SFC-45 Super Funnel Cartridge can be inserted through a 3.1mm to 3.2mm incision and is designed to accommodate Afinity Single Piece Collamer IOLs. The MicroSTAAR SFC-45 cartridge is used with the MSI-PF or MSI-TF injector and the standard blue foam-tip plunger.
