STAAR Surgical Announces Second Quarter 2005 Earnings Release Date and Conference Call

MONROVIA, Calif., July 21, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- STAAR Surgical Company (Nasdaq: STAA) today announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended July 1, 2005 on Thursday, July 28, 2005 after the market close. The Company will host a conference call and webcast on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss the Company's second quarter results and current corporate developments. The dial-in number for the conference call is 800-257-7063 for domestic participants and 303-262-2194 for international participants.
