STAAR Surgical Announces First Quarter 2006 Earnings Release Date and Conference Call

MONROVIA, Calif., April 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- STAAR Surgical Company (Nasdaq: STAA) today announced that it will release financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006 on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 after the market close. The Company will host a conference call and webcast on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss the Company's first quarter results and current corporate developments.
